Terms of service

These Terms govern your use of Otto, a service operated by Tethered Software Inc. ("Otto", "we", "us"). By creating an account at ottoagent.app you agree to these Terms.

What Otto does

Otto is a software service that ingests text content you provide or authorize us to access (meeting notes, transcripts, dashboard feedback), extracts code-shaped action items, and drafts pull requests on GitHub repositories you register. Otto never auto-merges; every output is a draft for human review.

Accounts

You are responsible for the activity that happens under your account, the accuracy of the information you provide, and the security of your password. Notify us immediately if you become aware of any unauthorized use of your account.

You must be at least 18 years old to use Otto.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use Otto to violate any applicable law or third party right.
• Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or extract the source code of Otto, except where law prohibits this restriction.
• Use Otto to send spam, malware, or otherwise harmful content.
• Connect integrations (Granola, Zoom, Slack, GitHub) you are not authorized to access.
• Resell or sublicense access to Otto without our written agreement.

Your content

You retain all rights to the content you submit to Otto (transcripts, feedback, repo content). You grant us a limited license to process that content solely to provide the service to you. We will not use your content to train models, sell it to third parties, or use it for any purpose other than running Otto for you.

Sub-processors

Otto uses the third-party services listed in our Privacy Policy. By using Otto you authorize us to share your content with those sub-processors as necessary to provide the service.

Plans, billing, and refunds

Paid plans are billed monthly or annually, in advance, through Stripe. Fees are non-refundable except where required by law. We may change prices on at least 30 days notice; if we do, you may cancel before the next billing cycle to avoid the new price.

Termination

You may delete your team and account at any time from the admin app. We may suspend or terminate your account if you materially breach these Terms. On termination, we will delete your content within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.

Disclaimers

Otto is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not guarantee that Otto will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free, or that any pull request Otto drafts is correct, complete, or appropriate to merge. Always review Otto's draft pull requests before merging.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, in no event will Tethered Software Inc., its affiliates, or any of their directors, officers, employees, agents, or licensors be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, arising out of or in connection with your use of Otto. Our total liability for any claim arising under these Terms is limited to the greater of (a) the amounts you paid us in the 12 months prior to the claim or (b) US$100.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Disputes will be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Delaware.

Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. If a change is material, we will notify active account holders by email at least 14 days before it takes effect. Continued use after a change constitutes acceptance.
